- What do you do for a living?
- I'm currently a wayfaring hobo who wanders the land munching on twigs and sitting under trees. I'd like to make a move to sub- Saharan Africa in the near-ish future, so I'm open to ideas and suggestions about how to do that in a meaningful and helpful way!
- What are your interests or hobbies?
- I currently spend a lot of time playing woodland games with my two cute nieces, frequently getting my butt kicked on the bowdrill by the 6-year old, Telynia. I'm also absorbed in making various fun tinctures, salves, teas and whatnot from wild plants in order to cure all the various ailments of my near and dear ones.
- Do you have any skills that you specialize in?
- Hm, I think that I specialise in being a loving and open-hearted person. I enjoy bringing people together and participating in circles of sharing and support.
- Is there something in practicular that you would like to learn? Let the mentors know..
- From my mentors, I would like to learn how to BE a mentor. I would also love to learn the names and uses of every single growing life form that surrounds me. But I'm open to anything!

Outdoor Education Job Opportunity
My friend forwarded me this job posting and I'm really not sure why I'm not applying immediately... It seems sort of insane to pass up an opportunity that suits me as well as this. However, I've committed to spending this summer living primitively in the woods, so that means no job for me. Lou Falank said… - Well. With that age group I might suggest animal forms. Having the kids "pretend" to be different animals. Also try to demo how the animal would actually move, gallop, hopping, bounding, 2x2 walking, ect...It is a good way to get them moving. Then Maybe practice sneaking and moving slow. I have the kids pretend to be mice and tell them how OWLs hunt and look for movement and they practice walking slow and I might be the owl moving around the play area. It can also tie into bird language too!

If I go to the Earth Living I will definitely contact you for some advice....I really don't want to show up looking like a city girl!

- Trevanna, I am so sorry to cause you such trouble. It would be very difficult to choose between our ancestors or primitive wisdom. I am grateful that you figured out my error before more unsuspecting people became perplex by our tagline. Thanks for bringing that to my attention and reminding me to get some yummy soda brewing. I've got to start a culture soon. With that in mind, I hereby challenge you to the great lactofermenting challenge. If you take my challenge, you must produce a lacto-fermeted beverage to share at the Worcester Expo...plus extra to keep for yourself. I think I'll challenge others as well....who knows maybe we can start a revolution!

- Hey Trevanna, It's so nice to have your here. We need your bubbly, vibrant energy as well as a few lacto-fermenting recipes. I hope that you'll use your blog to post stories, photos, songs, and anything that your willing to share. As for finding a way to the Sahara...hmmm....that's a challenging one.
