Wet Scrape Braintanning Workshop - Memorial Day Weekend at Toms River, NJ

This 3 Day workshop will take you through the entire process of Wet Scrape Brain Tanning, from start to finish. You will work with a partner and learn how to create your own luxurious buckskin in a dependable, consistent process.
Expect hard work ...
A couple of washings do cut the smell WAY down. Then pumice the hide gently (or do at least that if you dont want to wash it). The pumicing will get rid of a lot of the excess resins on the surface of the hide.
